Modern Slavery Statement
Modern Slavery Statement This statement sets out our zero-tolerance policy toward modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, servitude, and child exploitation in any part of our operations or supply chain. We are committed to acting ethically, responsibly, and with integrity in all business relationships. Our approach is designed to protect workers, strengthen accountability, and ensure that modern slavery compliance remains a core part of our governance framework.
We recognize that modern slavery can take many forms and may be hidden within complex supply chains. For that reason, we maintain clear controls to identify, prevent, and address risks. All employees, contractors, and suppliers are expected to uphold our standards and comply with applicable laws. Any breach of this policy is treated seriously and may lead to corrective action, suspension of business, or termination of the relationship.
Our anti-slavery commitment extends beyond internal conduct to every supplier and service partner. We require due diligence during onboarding and ongoing monitoring thereafter. This includes reviewing ownership structures, labor practices, recruitment methods, and country-specific risk factors. We expect suppliers to demonstrate transparent working conditions, fair treatment of workers, and the absence of coercion, debt bondage, or confiscation of identity documents.
To support these expectations, we conduct supplier audits based on risk. Audits may be announced or unannounced and can include document reviews, site visits, worker interviews, and checks on wage records, hours, age verification, and grievance procedures. Where concerns are identified, we work with suppliers to implement timely remediation plans. If improvement is not achieved, we may discontinue the relationship to uphold our modern slavery prevention standards.
We also provide multiple reporting channels so concerns can be raised safely and without fear of retaliation. Employees and business partners may report suspected issues through internal escalation routes, manager oversight, or confidential reporting mechanisms. Reports are reviewed promptly, investigated appropriately, and handled discreetly. Retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith is strictly prohibited and will be treated as a disciplinary matter.
Training and awareness are essential elements of our modern slavery statement. Relevant teams receive guidance on recognizing warning signs such as unusual recruitment fees, restricted movement, unexplained wage deductions, or intimidation. Procurement, operations, and leadership functions are encouraged to share responsibility for vigilance. By embedding awareness across the organization, we strengthen our ability to detect and address risks early.
We monitor the effectiveness of our measures through regular review of incidents, audit outcomes, corrective actions, and supplier performance. This helps us assess whether our controls remain suitable and whether additional steps are needed. Our commitment is not static; it is a continuing effort to improve the way we manage modern slavery risks and support ethical business conduct.
Each year, we complete an annual review of this statement and the practices that support it. The review considers changes in legislation, emerging risk areas, supplier performance, and the effectiveness of our reporting and audit processes. Findings from the review inform updates to policy, training, and procurement standards, ensuring that our response remains relevant and robust.
This modern slavery statement reflects our ongoing determination to operate with transparency, accountability, and respect for human rights. We will continue to strengthen our safeguards, engage with suppliers responsibly, and act swiftly where risks arise. Through a consistent zero-tolerance approach, effective auditing, accessible reporting, and annual review, we aim to contribute to the elimination of modern slavery in all forms.
